What's inside

Everything a small shop needs

4-step invoicing

A guided flow from customer to items to payment to a finished invoice — no manual paperwork.

Customer ledgers

Balances and full transaction history per customer. Old customers can be archived instead of deleted.

Deposits & dues

Payments auto-allocate to linked invoices, then oldest-unpaid-first. Paid status is always derived, never guessed.

Stock tracking

Optional per-product stock counts with low-stock visibility, so you reorder before the shelf is empty.

WhatsApp sharing

Invoice copies and polite due reminders over wa.me links — no extra app needed for your customers.

One-file backup

A real SQLite .db file — photos included — that you export, restore and keep anywhere. CSV exports for Excel too.

Why local-first

Your data never leaves your phone.

Orbill works fully offline after setup. The only network call it ever makes is a one-time license check. Your invoices never touch a server.

  • No account required
  • No server storing your invoices
  • Backup is a file you own

Install guide

Installing the APK

Android blocks apps installed outside the Play Store by default. You'll flip one switch — per app, not device-wide.

Android 8.0 and newer · most phones
  1. Tap the download button above. Chrome may show File might be harmful — tap Download anyway (the file is a standard signed APK).
  2. Open the downloaded file from the notification shade or your Downloads folder.
  3. Android shows: For your security, your phone isn't allowed to install unknown apps from this source. Tap Settings on that dialog.
  4. Toggle Allow from this source on. This allows installs only from the browser you downloaded with — it does not open your phone to all apps.
  5. Go back and tap Install.
  6. Play Protect may show Unknown developer or scan the app — tap More details → Install anyway if prompted.
  7. Open Orbill and set your own phone + password. That's the whole setup.
Android 7 and older
  1. Download the APK.
  2. Open Settings → Security and enable Unknown sources.
  3. Install the APK, then turn Unknown sources back off when finished.

On some brands the toggle lives at Settings → Apps → Special access → Install unknown apps (e.g. Xiaomi/MIUI, Samsung).

FAQ

Questions, answered plainly

Is it really offline?

Yes. After setup, everything — invoicing, ledgers, stock, expenses — runs entirely on your device. The only network call it ever makes is a one-time license check. A dropped connection never blocks a sale.

How do backups work?

Backup is one SQLite .db file — invoices, customers, stock and photos included. Export it and keep it anywhere you like: SD card, Drive, your laptop. Restoring is importing the same file.

My phone says the app can't be installed.

That's Android's default block on apps outside the Play Store. You allow it per app with the Allow from this source toggle, and Play Protect may ask for one more confirmation. See the install guide above — it walks through every screen.

Which Android versions are supported?

Android and newer.

How do I pay for a license?

Payment is handled manually by our support team. Send your name, phone number and payment details through bitlaab.com/contact, and a support member completes the payment and activation with you.

Can I export my data?

Yes. Invoices and expenses export as CSV for Excel, and the full backup is a standard SQLite file you can open with any SQLite tool. Your data is never locked in.
